CHARISMA held its first biannual consortium meeting of 2022 in Toledo

The general assembly took place between 27-29 April 2022 in the beautiful Spanish city of Toledo in a hybrid format.

CHARISMA project actively continues working towards realizing its objectives concerning the advancement of Raman harmonisation, and one of the activities carried out, thanks to the collaborative efforts and enthusiasm of the partners, is this half-yearly consortium meeting corresponding to the month 18 of the project. The three-day meeting in Toledo had a busy agenda full of rewarding discussions and exchanges of information among CHARISMA partners.

Fruitful discussions, informative presentations

Each work package leader contributed to the meeting with a presentation of the progress and results of their work packages, which aimed to provide a deeper insight into the roles and responsibilities that served CHARISMA’s future goals.

It was well-received by all partners that the project tasks had been carried out without major deviations, and that tasks were fulfilled. The presenters also shared the points that they thought required further discussion within the consortium and together the action point for the next months was defined. All in all, every consortium member was content with the valuable scientific results acquired through both individual and collaborative work as well as productive interaction among project partners.

CHARISMA Partners in Toledo

This was the second opportunity for the consortium to meet face to face after the meeting in Copenhagen, and I really appreciate the effort made by the partners to travel again after the end of the pandemic restrictions. The high-level discussions turned out to be a good reference point to prepare for the project review meeting next June.
— Raquel Portela, Tenured Scientist at CSIC

The meeting was also a great opportunity for CHARISMA consortium members to get together and enjoy sightseeing in Toledo besides social dinners that served to enrich the multicultural and multidisciplinary spirit of CHARISMA.
