During this workshop the Joint Research Center will give an update on the outcomes of the first reporting period of the SSbD framework. We will conclude on the ways forward in order to have an improved second testing phase in spring 2024, leading to criteria development in 2025.

The 8th International Conference on Health and Safety Issues for a socially responsible approach to nanomaterials will be organized in Grenoble, France from June 5–9, 2023. It will be combined with the NanoSafety Cluster (NSC) Week.

The school will take place in the historic centre of Venice, Italy, from 14–19 May 2023 and aims to transfer State-of-the-Art knowledge on various topics from key experts to the new generation of professionals, using interprofessional education in hands-on sessions.

The 1st Conference on Brillouin light Scattering for life science and biomedical applications continues in the tradition of 5 successful "Biobrillouin Meetings" and training schools previously funded by the EU COST Action "BioBrillouin" (CA16124). This conference will be the first organized under the auspices of the newly founded International BioBrillouin society. This edition will also be the occasion to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Léon Brillouin's publication that described the interaction between light and sound.
