Revolutionizing Raman Spectroscopy Standards: CHARISMA Project Meeting in Brussels

Consortium Meeting Success

The CHARISMA Project recently achieved significant milestones during its Consortium Meeting on 14-15 November at Vrije Universiteit Brussel’s (VUB) Main Campus. Partners from diverse sectors presented progress in all eight work packages, sharing valuable insights and exchanging ideas. The event showcased advancements in our research on Raman Spectroscopy standards.

Review Meeting Highlights

On 16 November, the project continued with a Review Meeting at the CSIC office. The agenda included discussions on scientific coordination, modelling nanomaterials, harmonized Raman spectra, and more. Demonstrations of Raman harmonization in real-world applications from our project’s case studies provided practical perspectives.

Outlook

As the CHARISMA Project enters its final phase, both meetings played a crucial role in planning activities for the project's conclusion. The consortium's dedication to advancing Raman Spectroscopy within the Industry Commons framework promises a lasting impact.

Feedback sessions led by our project officer and advisor from the European Commission facilitated constructive insights, ensuring a collective vision for success. The meetings concluded with an emphasis on the dissemination and exploitation of project outcomes.
